Gas Prices Drop

Gas prices dropped below $2 in South Portland today, sending people out to the pumps. At the Irving Station on Westbrook Street, the marquee listing gas at $1.95 a gallon led to a line of vehicles that stretched out into the street. Blogger Curt Fletcher posted the news on his Web site, including an awfully funny YouTube video of a motorist’s embarrassing moment while pumping gas. The video does not appear to have been filmed here.
Four SoPo gas stations—two Irvings, a Mobil and 7-11—had some of the cheapest prices in the state, according to mainegasprices.com

Jon G, I don’t get it.  If you are so sure you will win, then why the problem with the referendum?  I would think that you all would be happy with it.
